The conference series initiated by our Center in honor of our school’s 25th Anniversary and to contribute to the knowledge of our youth and society about the future, continues under the name “Hisar Talks: Let’s Now Talk About the Truth.”

Our first conference titled “Impressions after the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26): What awaits us?”, will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 13.30. The conference will be held in online as a Zoom webinar and simultaneously broadcasted on our School’s YouTube channel.

Our guest, United Nations Development Program Turkey Resident Representative Louisa Vinton, will address the issue of sustainability, touch on the comprehensive studies carried out by the United Nations and share her impressions of the COP26 Climate Change Summit held in Glasgow in November. Our Head of High School English Department Ned Entrikin, who carries out many studies in the field of sustainability, and our 12th grade student Hazal Kara, who participated in COP26, will also contribute to the conference and pose interesting questions to our guest.

We look forward to being together with you all at the conference, where we will focus on the responsibilities imposed on all of us through the global development goals.
