Grade 10 and 11

In Psychology courses we aim to bring in new perceptions on basic topics, interests and concepts of psychology. To do that; research methods, sensation, perception, learning, memory, motivation, development, personality theories and psychopathology are introduced.

Photographs, short films, current news and psychology tests are utilized to introduce visual materials. We expose our students to related materials as much as we can in 2 hours a week. Academicians from department of psychology are invited to lecture our students on fundamental disciplines of psychology.

AP Psychology – Grade 11 and 12

The aim of AP Psychology course is to introduce human and animal behaviours and their intellectual processes to students based on systematic and scientific studies. The program includes psychological facts, principles and phenomenon associated to sub-branhes of psychology. Moreover, students learn about ethics and methods applied in science and implementations which psychologists use.

Students discover psychology as a behavioral science and intellectual process with the help of coursebook readings that emphasize critical-thinking, implementations, projects and directed online activities.

The aim of AP Psychology course is to introduce human and animal behaviours and their intellectual processes to students based on systematic and scientific studies. Theories regarding to behavior, sensation, perception, learning, intellect, motivation, developmental psychology and biological features are taught. Besides, students learn about research methods and ethics applied in science and implementations carried by psychologists.

Apart from course books that emphasizes critical-thinking and implementations, students discover psychology as a behavioral science and intellectual process with the help of projects, activities, experiments and visual materials.
