Visual Arts courses in Hisar Schools comprise of the following lessons.

  • 2 hours of Visual Arts and Ceramic lessons in Prep and grade 9,10,11 and 12 in a week.
  • 2 hours of Elective Arts and Ceramic lessons for grade 10,11and 12 in a week.
  • 4 hours of AP Studio Art Drawing and AP Studio Art 2D in grade 11 and 12 in a week.
  • In addition, Portfolio and Fashion Design Club take place in different grades.

Visual Arts - Elective

Visual Arts classes aim to offer opportunities for tour high school students to develop themselves at the utmost level.

The department tries to create several settings to extract potentials of the students and let them express themselves on the artistic level.

The department encourages the students to produce projects on “Social Responsibility with Arts” and care about developing social responsibility awareness of the students.

Personal developments of the students encourage them to share their personal savings with their friends. So, any student can take part in “Hisar Series Group Exhibition”.

The department encourages students to participate in “School-based projects, Out-of-School Projects and Competitions” in order them to have self-knowledge and to express themselves from an artistic view. The department cares about meeting and working with other schools on art related settings. Thus, we take part in “Extramural Activities, National and International Projects”.

The department encourages the students to take part in international settings where they can produce projects based on their interests and skills, carry their experiences into their lives and can work on topics of their choice and interests.

Our department encourages the students to become people who can associate with the past, bring cultural and artistic savings of past to present works, evaluate interdisciplinary interactions in fields and settings of art, transform the ideas into unique products, comprehend necessities of art and use creativity in every field.

Ceramics - Elective

Art is a way of understanding nature, concept and emotion world and interpreting these along with pleasure and presenting unique pieces. Desire of discovering nature takes people to science and desire of changing nature takes people to art. The course develops spatial and three dimensional features of the students. Problem-solving, preparing material processes to generate products, self-assessment at the end of the projects, analyzing and synthesizing are seen as parts of arts-ceramics course. 3D Art, fiction in artistic editing, drying, coloring and baking clay are among the subjects of the course.

AP Studio Art - Elective

AP Studio Art Program provides equal experiences as in introductory courses in college for workshop lectures. The course is eligible for highly motivated and devoted students to arts. AP Studio Art Program is designed for students who take applied art experiences seriously and are interested in doing systematic research to put portfolios, concepts and composition forward and reflect their ambitions to their works.
