Eating Disorder Seminar for 7th Grade Students

Our Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department continues to carry out projects to meet the “individual and social” development needs of our students and to support their adaptation in this process. The “Eating Disorders” program is one of the studies and The Department aims to increase the awareness of our students in terms of healthy eating and gaining a positive body image.

The seminar, which our 7th grade students will attend, will be held on November 26,2021, between 09.20-10.30  hours by Assoc. Sevcan Karakoç Demirkaya.

The main topics of the seminar are as follows:

• What is self-confidence?
• The importance of self-confidence and self-esteem in adolescence?
• What are healthy eating attitudes?
• What are eating disorders?
• What is the treatment for eating disorders?
