After its opening in September 2019, The Writing Center succeeded to build a trained staff of 25 student tutors. The trainees started to work with real students and collaborated with over 60 middle school and high school writers on projects ranging from slam poetry to literary analysis essays. In the words of one of our enthusiastic student authors, “I loved how my tutor helped me and made me feel at home. I would love to see them again and get my writing skills to its peak.”
