Our 9th Grade students conducted “Osmosis” experiment in online Biology lessons. Our students observed how salt solutions of different concentrations make the length and width of the jellybeans. Apart from jellybeans, materials such as potato cubes, raisins and dried apricots were also used to observe osmosis. Our students wrote their experiment reports and then designed their own home experiments to observe the effect of another factor on osmosis. Our students stated that they enjoyed biology in the kitchen and learned the subjects much better by experimenting.
